Ascending the Apex: The National 3 Peaks Challenge

This July, join me on the adventure as I take on the National 3 Peaks Challenge, an exhilarating journey to the summits of Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales. Covering a total walking distance of 23 miles and an ascent of 10,052 feet, this challenge is not only a test of physical stamina but also of mental tenacity and logistical planning. I will experience the diverse landscapes and natural beauty of the UK’s three highest peaks, from the rugged Scottish Highlands to the picturesque Lake District and the majestic Welsh Snowdonia. The challenge is typically completed within 24 hours, including travel time between the peaks, making for an intense and memorable adventure. The National 3 Peaks Challenge offers a unique blend of endurance, natural beauty, and a sense of achievement that will linger long after the journey is over and is another step towards my preperation for the big event this September.
